Thanksgiving Outreach

For decades Freeman Heights has provided assistance to families in need at Thanksgiving. Literally thousands of families have been blessed over the years with a little extra food to help provide a Thanksgiving meal for their gathering. However the days of The ROC Box have given way to a more versitile method. We are a multi-cultural church that serves a multi-cultural community and traditions vary across cultures.

Therefore we have found that the best way to offer assistance during the holidays is in the form of a gift card.

Instead of buying Thanksgiving groceries and delivering them to a family, we are now providing a gift card for a local grocery store so that the same family can buy the items that they like and that suits their taste and tradition.

So here is what YOU can do to bless others this Thanksgiving... Give Thanks!

• You can provide your donation in person at Freeman Heights. Make sure to designate your gift for "ROC Thanksgiving"
• You can also give online. In the drop down choose "Roc Thanksgiving"
• Or you can click on the "Give Thanks" button below and that designation is already chosen for you.

There is no one sugessted donation amount, but the cards that will be distributed will be for $25. You give the donation of your choosing based on your leading and ability, and the church will purchase the $25 cards for distributuion based on verified need.

Freeman Heights indentifies families in our community through our various outreach ministries such as our Public School liasons, The ROC, and other contacts.
